Bink's Boo Boo
Saturday morning I ended up taking Bink to the vet. The Dr diagnosed him with acral lick dermatitis which is a skin condition resulting from repeated licking that causes raw, inflamed sores. We were informed that it is NOT a physical problem, but psychological. He basically gets bored when we're at work and so he goes to town licking his paw. We have to put tea tree oil with cortisone on and give him 2 antibiotics a day.... our poor, poor Bink!

Lincoln got them several times. Once when he was at a bad kennel (not Skydance!). So far... Lisi hasn't had any. But she's not bored very often with the activity here...
My mama's sheltie has had this same problem since she had a littler of pups. They drove her a little crazy :) Hope Bink heals soon!
