Tonight was cirque night. I'm trying to figure out how perfectly, healthy human beings can fold their bodies in half (the chiropractor is probably working on theirs backs as I write this). How does someone have control over 6 hula hoops and be upside down. One is hard enough standing upright! How does someone do double flips and land on a skinny line, not to mention, in midair? I apologized to the people around me for gasping so many times. The hole trapeze thing is another story. 6 people. 1 bar. Only 2 arms to catch each other. GRAVITY! And maybe something is wrong with me because when the stadium roars, I calmly sit and look around at those who are laughing. I guess a lot of things aren't that funny to me. Speaking of laughing, after the show us girls gathered in the car and just started laughing. All of us. Tears pouring. Passing each other kleenexes. The window fogged up. At our table we had water.... only water. We're more than just employees. At our teeny tiny branch, we are friends. Preethi sat by us. Always glad to see her smiling face in the crowd. Over all, Alegria is truly amazing. Those people are beyond talented. It's a cute little story about love.
Bink was all but anxious to see me walk in the door at 11pm. Poor dog had to come to me cross-legged. (he had to hold it for 12 hrs straight!) I immediately got my tennis shoes on and took him for a long walk. I love to walk. Cody says my walk is not a walk. I'm not fast, so he must be to slow. Now Bink and I lay on the bed together. I have a way too full book cabinet, but I've read the books already. If I can just hang on, mom will have a box of books for me to take home again. That's right mom........right? :)
I'm ready to call it a night.
